Friend

My word for today is friend and it means: a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard, a person who gives assistance, patron, supporter: a person who is on good terms with another, a person that is not hostile. And my payer for today is that I be the friend that is needed and that I be there no matter what; that I be caring and understanding.
